The fastening element of this bracelet is integral to the design of this distinctive and unusual sold silver bracelet.  The tree is made from 1.5mm thick sterling silver and is hand pierced using a jeweller's saw.  This process is far too fine ever to be replicated by a machine.  The rectangular links are handmade by accurately measuring equal lengths of silver and forming them into rectangles.  Joined with round links to give the bracelet the fluidity needed to drape around the wrist, it is truly a work of art.  The tree can thread through any of the rectangular links so the bracelet will suit even the smallest of ladies - or even a child.  Bearing the hallmarks required by law in the UK, to indicate the silver content, it further carries my designer hallmark (the shield in the image above).
